Hi, I'm Angi!
After many years working in corporate risk management, I decided to step away from the corporate world and create something that felt more personal, creative, and community-focused.
SereniTea Boutique was built to be more than just a tea shop. I wanted to create a welcoming space where people could slow down and truly enjoy a moment for themselves. Whether that’s finding a new favorite tea, creating a custom essential oil blend, browsing boutique finds, or simply relaxing in the Book Nook with a drink and pastry, every visit is meant to feel personal.
Most days you’ll find me right behind the counter chatting with customers and helping guests explore our teas and gifts. Every item in the boutique is intentionally chosen, and supporting small businesses, women-owned brands, and local makers is at the heart of what we do.
The Boutique
SereniTea Boutique is a specialty tea shop and boutique built around the idea of slowing down, trying something new, and supporting thoughtfully curated brands and local makers.
We offer more than 85 loose-leaf teas that can be brewed hot or iced, or packaged to take home to brew. Our featured brands include local favorite Hugo Tea, as well as The Tea Spot, Big Heart Tea Co., Sub Rosa Tea, Adagio Tea, and August Uncommon. We also proudly serve locally roasted coffee from Kansas City favorite, The Roasterie.
Beyond beverages, the boutique features a curated collection of gifts and goods with a strong focus on women-owned companies, local makers, and unique small businesses. Guests can browse favorites like Riddle Oil, Portland Leather Goods, locally made tumblers, jewelry, soaps, honey, seasonal handcrafted items, and more!
We also offer signature essential oil blends and a custom essential oil blending bar where guests can create personalized blends.
The Paperback Bakery
Whitney of The Paperback Bakery creates fresh pastries daily right in our shared space: flaky danishes, award-winning cinnamon rolls, and custom cakes for special occasions. Pair one with your favorite cup of tea. It doesn’t get better than that.
The Book Nook
Grab your tea, find a cozy seat, and settle in. Our Book Nook is a dedicated indoor seating area perfect for meeting a friend, catching up on a good book, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself. The Book Nook also serves as the heart of our community events, home to our book clubs, pop-ups for local vendors, workshops, and casual gatherings year-round.
